Mooring Suspension Bridge 186 Dolphin Bridge (Rockingham Road) to Bridge 185, Swan & Bottle (Oxford Road)

Towpath closure and mooring suspension: To enable towpath improvement works between Rockingham Road and Oxford Road in Uxbridge, the towpath between Bridge 186 Dolphin Bridge (Rockingham Road) and Bridge 185, Swan & Bottle (Oxford Road) will be closed from 1st April for approximately 14 weeks and mooring suspended at Brown’s Meadow long-term and short-term moorings. Customers at Brown’s Meadow long-term moorings are being relocated for the duration of the works to the area south of Bridge 186 Dolphin Bridge (Rockingham Road). A towpath diversion will be in place during the improvement work via Rockingham Road, New Windsor Street, The Lynch, The Lawn, Victora Road and Oxford Road, or via Rockingham Road, New Windsor Street, Trumper Way and Oxford Road (either route is expected to add approximately 5 minutes to walking time).
